The Double Helix Partnership came into being over a decade ago. A range of homeopathic remedy kits were designed by homeopath Mary Aspinwall supported throughout by her artist husband, Wayne Thompson. The kits quickly became immensely popular and many, many thousands have been sold, largely thanks to word-of-mouth recommendations. From the very beginning a percentage of profits from the kits has been donated to support homoeopathic charities and this is still true today.

The kits are manufactured by the world-famous Helios Homeopathic Pharmacy in England. Helios was formed in 1986 with the ideal of creating, from scratch a unique new source of fully potent homeopathic remedies prepared by strictly Hahnemannian machine-free methods. About Mary Aspinwall, Registered Homeopath

Mary has been working as a classical homeopath since 1995 and during that time has helped thousands of people to return to health rapidly, gently and permanently. She trained at the College of Homeopathy in London, completed a one year apprenticeship with a highly experienced homeopath and later graduated from Jeremy Sherr's Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathic Studies.

She lectures in homeopathic colleges and is a frequent contributor to homeopathic journals (Homeopathy Today (USA), Homeopathic Links (Netherlands), The Journal of the Society of Homeopaths (Britain), The Homeopathic Times (Ireland).
In 1993, whilst still a student homeopath, Mary designed a series of homeopathic medicine kits that went on to become the best-selling range in the world. The kits are manufactured by the world-famous Helios Homeopathic Pharmacy in England. From the very beginning a percentage of profits from the kits was donated to support homoeopathic charities and this is still true today.

Mary feels passionately about educating the public to prescribe successfully for first aid emergencies and acute illnesses and has taught many thousands how to do so, through classes and her free on-line course . She also actively encourages those with more chronic, on-going conditions to seek out the benefit of professional homeopathic help.

More about Mary
Mary designed the world’s best selling Helios Double Helix range of homeopathic medicine kits in 1993. She is the author of “A Basic Guide to Homeopathy” and editor of “The Clinical Medicine Guide”. Over the past fourteen years, she has taught thousands of people around the world how to self-prescribe homeopathic medicines safely and effectively, both in person and through her free on-line study course.

After studying at the College of Homeopathy, she graduated from the Dynamis School of Homeopathic Studies, London. The Dynamis School is responsible for more modern day "provings" than any other organisation. Whilst at Dynamis, Mary took part in their homeopathic testing of Salmon, a fascinating experience, and assisted in the editing of the proving. She is registered with the Irish Society of Homeopaths, often representing them in the press, on radio and in TV interviews.

In 1995, she set up the Natural Healing Rooms in the South West of Ireland. It is now one of the largest holistic centres of its kind, offering Osteopathy, Chiropractic treatment, Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Counselling, Psychotherapy, Aromatherapy, Holistic Massage and Reflexology, as well as her own Homeopathy practice.

In 1999 she set up www.homeopathyworld.com to provide a free educational resource for the general public and to further promote her range of kits.

Prior to becoming a homeopath Mary worked in adult education, she brings together excellent, interactive teaching techniques with her deep love and understanding of Homeopathy, to deliver a truly memorable introduction to this fascinating system of medicine.

In April 2000 Homeopathykits.com was launched drawing on Mary's homeopathic experience and Wayne's webmastering skills. To celebrate three very successful years we have improved, expanded and relaunched the site as Homeopathyworld.com. This new name better reflects our mission, which is to encourage and educate more and more people throughout the world to find out about Homeopathy and enjoy its wonderful benefits. The site continues to be maintained and fully- funded by Mary Aspinwall and Wayne Thompson.  

We intend to keep improving and expanding our website, so that we may better serve both the self-prescriber and the professional homeopath.
